What to expect in an online appointment ?
After speaking to member of our team to confirm a suitable day and time for the appointment we will carry out a quick IT set up test to ensure that you have the appropriate set up at your place of residence to conduct a consultation. After this has been established your therapist will send you a link to access to start the consultation.
Our Physiotherapist will:

Get a full medical history and identify the issues you are having and what you want to achieve from the consultation

Perform an assessment of your physical movements

Identify the probable cause of the issue

Run through any advice and home exercises that you have to perform

On completion of the appointment, send you your prescribed treatment plan

Indicate whether a follow-up treatment is required and if so when

Is an online Physiotherapy appointment as effective as an in person one?
The short answer to this question is yes and this has been verified by numerous researchers including the internationally recognised National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) that have indicated that common musculoskeletal injuries can be effectively assessed and managed through virtual session and advice.
Our online Physiotherapy consultations can either be:

An initial assessment to identify a specific injury/issue or problem that you are currently suffering from.

As part of a follow-up rehabilitation programme to a current ongoing issue that you have wish to continue.

As part of our new ‘Stand Strong’ comprehensive ‘Multidisciplinary’ assessment which combines the clinical expertise of our physiotherapists and the strength and conditioning/fitness programming of one of our exercise and rehabilitation therapists.
Cost
The cost of an appointment is €50 with an average duration of 30 mins 'live' online.
